I watched these guys from Chrissy field as they almost flew across the bay from Sausilito to the middle of the bay underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. In the background are the distant Marin Headlands. The lens zoom for this photo was 950mm at F7.1 1/500s ISO200. Shooting conditions were a little difficult because of the afternoon haze but this photo cleaned up nicely. This photo is uncropped. Slight painterly effect applied.
