Saw this Northern Barred Owl in an old growth forest in Washington State. Also known as a Hoot Owl, she was perched on that branch in front of a very large cedar tree. I won't give you the exact location of this owl because State biologist are trying to remove them from the ecosystem as they are viewed as a threat.
