Black and white photograph of Cape Kiwanda at low tide. Pacific City Oregon is the gateway to Cape Kiwanda and one of Oregon's most famous haystacks aka sea stacks. The coastal landscape at low tide is quite dramatic. Sheets of ocean water barely cover the sand as the tidal surf recedes. Sandstone rock frames the right side of this photo. One of Oregons most famous haystacks peeks out on the right side at the horizon line.
