A somewhat abstract photo-realistic sketch of the mast of the historic replica three masted tall ship the Kalmar Nyckel. It was sailing along the Elizabeth River at the start of Harborfest in Norfolk, Va. I like that this print shows details of the main mast. You see the crows nest on the tall sitka spruce main mast and the rolled up oceanus sailcloth, roblon bolt ropes and rigging. I was some distance away across the river in Portsmouth when I captured this image. I processed it for an old time look.
