As I looked out into the ocean waiting for the sun to pop above the horizon I reminded myself of the weekend before. Just last week, Hurricane Matthew that was never to have reached our shores devastated the area with high tropical force winds and prodigious amounts of rain that flooded our land. Our streets turned into creeks and rivers. Our houses temporarily rested atop small islands. The waterfront property always expected to have was temporary reality. Now this, the waters have receded and this sight at the oceanfront was beauty to behold. One of God's many gifts to man.

Just imagine walking along the beach during the golden twilight hour. You're watching the sky, listening to the sounds of the ocean as waves rush in, you see birds feeding along the seashore. The clouds become painted with beautiful artistic flare. This was one of those inspirational moments for me.
