The spring snow melt is now at its peak in Oregon. The new fresh water rushes down the mountain thru the falls and out to the Columbia River Gorge. To get this shot I had to get away from the face of the falls up to a higher point on the northwest side where there was little to no mist. I find this view thru the trees of the lower falls inspiring.
