Artist's Description
Time to Go, I will never forget the moment when I captured this photo. Right place, right time, camera in hand, set and ready. I was staying at a hotel in Portland Oregon not far from the bridge to Vancouver. In the back of my hotel was a large open grassy field. Thousands of Canadian Geese would fly in late every afternoon in the winter and early Spring to graze in the grass and bed down for the night. On this particular day I spotted them flying in from my hotel room window and grabbed my camera, quickly heading down to the lobby. The hotel has a back patio with a sliding door. I quietly slipped thru and took up position, waiting for action and then suddenly there were one or two squaks and they leap up into the air and flew away. I had set up for a burst shot and then fired away. This was my favorite. The colors are natural as they were. Very minor adjustment to brightness and contrast. A single topaz effect was used to create this unique image. I love the sharp definition on the wi...

Thanks Jeff. Yes, I've had some practice capturing motion. Thanks for noticing. Also agree that the unique Topaz effect that I've gotten very good at applying to multiple subjects after a lot of experimentation does make most of them really stand out. Did you notice that that image is grainless?
Jeff Burgess
You were lucky but there is also some real skilled work in capturing these birds in flight. And I love the Topaz effect which makes the birds pop. Wishing you luck on a sale of this beautiful creation.

A very unique print for themed home decor, apparel and fashion accessories. Imagine how challenging this would be as a puzzle. A 48x72 acyrlic or canvas print hanging on a lobby wall would have the wow factor with this photographic don't you agree!
